JUNIOR HIGH WIR 138
Felt Board Stories continued last night, with Bree speaking about how the story of Daniel in the lion’s den foretells the story of the Gospel and how we can respond to that good news!
The goal of Felt Board Stories as a series is to look at the basics, things we learn when we are little, expand them, learn some context, and apply their themes and lessons to our lives now!
This was our third JRHIGH of the year, and we are so looking forward to what is to come! Below you’ll find the fall calendar and a bit more information about what is headed our way!
JRHGIH Wednesday Nights: Next Week
Throwback night is here! Dressed up as senior citizens (the more wrinkles the better) we are going to play games we played when we were little, get a better idea of what the elderly eat, and lots of bingo. It is going to be spectacular!
Tuesday Morning Bible Study
There is an existing bible study at Cityside Middle School lead by Chuck Vander Zwaag on Wednesday mornings, and we have started one at Creekside Middle School on Tuesday mornings!
Make sure you grab a permission slip from church and either give it to Bree or Pat prior to Tuesday morning or bring it with you when you come! We are meeting again this upcoming Tuesday, October 10 at 6:50, room 703.
Profession of Faith
Profession of Faith classes are October 15, 22 and 29. If your child is interested in taking the next step in their faith please talk to Bree or Pat about attending!
Mission Trip Fundraiser Opportunities
We started the Butterbraids fundraiser on Wednesday, October 4th. Forms were available on the 4th and still able to be picked up at church. They are due by October 29th. That means you will get your butter braids by Thanksgiving break! These delicious pastry are great to have in every season, especially the holiday season!
